POLICY & DISCLAIMERS
East Coast Countertop Inc. brings in stones from all over the world to provide one of the largest selections for our valued customers. ECC uses the best technology in the industry to create and deliver high-quality surfaces.
POLICY & DISCLAIMERS
Natural materials will have variations in the stone that create a uniqueness and enhance the beauty of your project. Fissures/cracks, pits, voids, dull spots, textural differences, and thickness variations are part of the material and are not considered defects. Natural stone is a porous material and will need to be sealed to protect the stone. Honed/Leathered/Brushed finished are susceptible to staining and may exhibit small scratches as normal wear and tear of the finish. We recommend sealing 1 to 2 times per year. ECC stands behind the quality of our work but, cannot warranty the material/stone or any acts of nature and wear and tear of the end consumer.
Engineered quartz, in contrast, is factory-produced by combining quartz with resins, binding agents, and occasionally pigments. Quartz is nonporous and does not require any sealing to resist stains and makes the material impervious to mold, mildew, and odor-causing bacteria. Avoid heat above 300 degrees Fahrenheit as the resin and materials used could burn or melt. A sudden change in temperature or prolonged exposure to heat from a pan left on the countertop may even cause the quartz to crack. To be safe, always use a trivet or hot pad and cutting boards. Quartz is not the right choice for an outdoor space. If you install it outdoors, you do so at your own risk, as all manufacturer warranties cover indoor use only.
QUOTES/ESTIMATES
When choosing your material and details of your potential order, ECC uses customer supplied measurements to provide an estimate only. This pricing is subject to change based on information, logistics and measurements taken at time of template.
